2 years later....blogging again.

So it has been 2 years since my last blog. I just found it, and read my last post... It is interesting what a year can hold. At this time last year I had just found out I was pregnant with Iris. Crazy what this year has brought us. Many, many changes in our life. But Soooo good.
God has supplied for our every need and then some. It just takes my breath away at times, because I don't deserve the wonderful life I have. Salvation through Christ. A family who loves me no matter what. A house over my head. Food on my table. A husband who serves me and loves me better than I deserve. A daughter who is healthy and happy. Much, much to be thankful for.
Iris is 14 weeks old this week, and what a journey her first 3 months have been. I have been so blessed to be able to stay home with her and watch her grow. To be a part of every new discovery in her world. I have to say- being a mom is the very BEST job I have ever had. The hardest- no doubt- but it brings me so much joy to be her mom. Her smile every morning makes my day brighter. Just one smile, is worth all those sleepless nights :D

Children are truly a gift from the Lord. I never understood that until now.
Well......here is to the next year, and here is to blogging about it! We'll see if I am more committed than last time!
